Enjoy Candy During Halloween, But Don’t Forget About Oral Hygiene
While enjoying these treats are all fine and dandy, it is important that you remember to keep up with your oral hygiene so that you can avoid the development of common oral problems like cavities and gum disease. Proper oral hygiene includes:
- Brushing your teeth at least twice a day – brush your teeth after consuming candy if you can. If not, just try to give your teeth at least one extra brush on the days that you eat your Halloween treats
- Floss once a day – this will help get rid of candy particles you may have missed while brushing your teeth
