As 2015 fast approaches, it’s an ideal time to reflect back on the year and reassess your life and goals. For many patients of ours, 2015 is the year that they want to get their braces off and we want to help them realize their resolution! In order to achieve this goal, it is important to keep in mind a variety of factors that have an influence on your treatment, including what you eat and your oral hygiene. Beyond that, it is vital that keep up with your orthodontic appointments so that Dr. Phillips can monitor your progress more closely to efficiently determine the next steps for the remainder of your treatment.

All our patients should expect to have a beautiful, healthy smile by the time treatment is complete. But monitoring what you eat is also important for achieve achieving this goal on time and maintaining the health of your teeth. While food choice is important, practicing proper oral hygiene and care is just as vital. Make sure you brush your teeth multiple times day and floss, as well as keep up with your normal schedule of visits to our office.
